The learning hub has been developed to provide access to quality arts education support from The Arts Unit wherever and whenever you need it. Through a mixture of short, targeted, skill specific videos that demonstrate best practice and a range of interactive eLearning modules learners will be able to explore content in a way that is both meaningful and memorable.
Learners are able to access content on a wide range of devices in a time and place that suits their needs. All content is designed to support the learner’s ongoing professional development and is linked to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
The Arts Unit provides a state wide infrastructure for arts education. It delivers programs in dance, drama, music, visual arts, debating, public speaking, reading, spelling and special events. Its priorities are:
Annually more than 44,000 students and 6,000 teachers directly participate in The Arts Unit’s programs and an additional 433,000 students access these programs.
